Setting: Sitting on 72 acres, the Celibeth House is centrally located to numerous Upper Michigan attractions, including Pictured Rocks National Shoreline, Whitefish Point Shipwreck Museum, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Tahquamenin Falls, and various other points of interest. Many guests have used the Celibeth House as a “base” and have taken many day trips to these attractions.
History & Unique Features: The Celibeth House was built in 1895 by William Mueller, the lumberman who founded Blaney Park, as his private residence. The rooms are furnished with antiques and country accents. Guests can enjoy our enclosed front porch, back deck, or our library with over one thousand books on American history, country decor, and a variety of other topics.
Meals: We have snacks available in the evening and serve a full breakfast every morning.
